Overview
BMW comes to the BEV SUV party with the meaty-ranged iX3, showing the Munich powerhouse may just mean serious electric business. Though it borrows letters from BMW's first BEV, the brilliant, if somewhat marmite-looking, i3, this isn't a ground-up BEV, instead built on the ICE X3 platform, sharing much of the same looks. Inside we're pure BMW, which means good, and performance is briskish, if not what we'd class as nippy - unless you suffer the common misfortune of driving an ICE SUV, in which case this will feel very nippy off the mark to you.
